This sandal is actually more attractive in person than photo. Before purchase I already knew they should be jazzed up with a nice above the knee dress or shorts with a patent hand bag. I choose (color) black for this the minute I stepped from my car the compliments rolled. Now I, didn't give 5 stars because the shoes are actually sized for wide width and someone with a chunky rear heel with this said you can still pull them off because of the design of being a opened shoe and flats. For this reason if you have a narrow heel please go down ONE full size. The other small obstical were the leg straps are for large calf (runner) legs or plumper sized will do perfect for true size. I fixed this by adding more holes to the adjustment straps. Bottom line this is a tough sheek (Gladiator) for ALL ages you won't be dissapointed if accessorized properly. HOWEVER ALITTLE PRICY but worth it.
